12. User Content
You may submit, upload, generate, or store content through our services, including prompts, notes, quiz answers, assignments, projects, design systems, uploaded files, components, and generated outputs ("User Content").
You are responsible for your User Content.
You must ensure that you have all rights necessary to upload, process, generate, and use User Content through our services.
If you publish a component publicly on Atheros, you grant Atheros and other Atheros users a worldwide, royalty-free license to view, clone, and modify that component within the platform, with clone lineage recorded back to your original. You may unpublish at any time; clones made while your component was public remain licensed.
You must not upload or generate content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive, malicious, or otherwise violates these Terms.
13. Ownership of Generated Outputs
As between you and Atheros, you own or receive all rights we can legally grant in the components and outputs you generate using Atheros Builder.
We do not claim ownership over your generated components. However:
- generated outputs may not be unique;
- similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users;
- AI-generated outputs may be based on patterns learned from data or platform functionality;
- you are responsible for verifying whether an output is suitable for your intended use;
- we do not guarantee that outputs are free from third-party rights claims.
14. Atheros Intellectual Property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to our platform, technology, software, website, branding, templates, prompts, design systems, course content, ebooks, videos, tutorials, roadmaps, quizzes, resources, databases, workflows, and pre-existing materials.
Except as expressly allowed in these Terms, you must not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or create competing products based on our platform or content.
15. Permitted Use of Resources
Builder components
- Generated components — components generated from your own prompts are yours (Section 13) and may be used without restriction in personal, commercial, and client projects. No attribution is required.
- Free catalog components — may be used, modified, and shipped in unlimited personal, commercial, and client projects, with or without an account. No attribution is required.
- Premium catalog components (Atheros AI Pass / Ultra) — during an active subscription you may clone premium components and use them in unlimited end products, including client work. Components you cloned during an active subscription remain licensed for continued use in your end products after the subscription ends; ending your subscription only ends your ability to clone additional premium components.
For all catalog components (free and premium), you must not:
- resell or redistribute components as components — standalone, in template marketplaces, asset packs, or component libraries;
- publicly republish premium components, or trivial derivatives of them;
- share accounts or project API keys to give non-subscribers access to premium content;
- use the catalog to build, seed, or train a competing component library or platform.
Learning content
During an active subscription, you may use Atheros learning resources (course content, ebooks, videos, quizzes, roadmaps) for your own personal and professional development. You must not redistribute them, share paid materials publicly, or claim ownership of Atheros pre-existing materials.
After your subscription ends, you lose access to paid learning content and paid platform features. The continued-use license for premium components you already cloned (above) is not affected.
16. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- scrape, crawl, or harvest our platform or content;
- share paid content with non-subscribers;
- publicly republish premium components or trivial derivatives of them;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute our content;
- reverse engineer our platform;
- abuse AI generation features;
- attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or access controls;
- create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits or to evade limits, suspensions, or bans;
- upload illegal or infringing content;
- upload malware or harmful code;
- interfere with platform security;
- impersonate others;
- use our services for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- use our services to generate spam, deceptive content, or malicious software;
- use our content or outputs in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
17. IP Complaints and Takedown
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe a component or other User Content published on Atheros infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to support@atheros.ai including:
- your name and contact details;
- a link to the specific content you believe is infringing;
- identification of the work you say it infringes (or the right you hold);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
We review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the reported content, and may suspend repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why; where appropriate we may restore the content.
Submitting a knowingly false or bad-faith notice may make you liable for resulting costs and damages.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if:
- you violate these Terms;
- payment fails;
- you abuse the platform;
- you misuse AI features;
- you share paid content;
- we are required to do so by law;
- your use creates risk for us, our users, or third parties.
If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms, you may lose access to your subscription, credits, content, and account data without refund.
19. Certificates
Atheros may issue completion certificates for certain learning content.
Certificates are evidence of completion only. They are not formal academic qualifications, professional accreditations, licenses, or guarantees of skill, employment, or professional competence.
20. Community and Slack Access
We may provide access to a Slack workspace or other community features.
You must behave respectfully and lawfully in community spaces.
We may remove content, restrict access, or remove users from the community for abuse, harassment, spam, misconduct, or violation of these Terms.
Community access may be modified or discontinued at any time.
21. AI Features
Atheros Builder uses AI systems and third-party AI providers.
You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, unsuitable, or contain errors.
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and editing AI-generated outputs before use.
You must not rely on AI outputs as legal, financial, professional, or compliance advice.
22. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data.
By using our services, you agree that we may process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
23. Availability and Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time.

We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, errors, or actions.

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atheros will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
27. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Atheros harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your use of the services;
- your User Content;
- your generated outputs;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of law;
- your infringement of third-party rights.
28. Informal Dispute Resolution
Before starting formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@atheros.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
We will also try to resolve disputes with you in good faith.
29. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring claims in another jurisdiction.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are material, we may notify you by email or through our services.
Your continued use of the services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
