• _ga and _gid — distinguish visitors and sessions.

Advertising Cookies

Advertising cookies let us measure whether our ads work — which campaigns lead to a sign-up or a subscription — and are set only if you accept. We use:

• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — sets _fbp and, when you arrive from a Meta ad, _fbc;
• Google Ads — sets _gcl_* cookies for conversion measurement.

We use these to count conversions and measure campaign performance. Accepting also allows these providers to use the data for remarketing and ad personalisation under their own policies.

We also set one first-party cookie of our own, atheros_utm. When you arrive from a campaign link, it stores the campaign parameters in that link (source, medium, campaign, term, content), the page you landed on, and the referring site, for up to 90 days. We use it to attribute a later sign-up or purchase to the campaign that introduced you. It holds no personal information and is not shared with third parties. Clearing your cookies removes it.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use:

• Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention (necessary);
• Google Analytics — analytics;
• Google Ads — advertising measurement;
• Meta Pixel — advertising measurement;
• YouTube — video embeds.

These providers process data according to their own privacy and cookie policies.

4. Video Embeds

Our services may include embedded videos from Vimeo and YouTube. When you view embedded videos, these providers may place cookies or collect usage data, depending on your settings and their policies.

5. Cookie Consent

We show a cookie notice the first time you visit. Necessary cookies are set either way — they are what make signing in and paying work, and there is no version of the site without them.

Everything else waits for you. Analytics and advertising are a single choice: accepting turns on both, declining leaves both off, and nothing in either category is loaded until you accept — the scripts are not fetched at all, not merely blocked from setting cookies.

You can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings on our cookie policy page. Withdrawing consent stops the tracking and deletes the cookies it set, including _ga, _gid, _gcl_*, _fbp and _fbc.
